Privacy policy

Falcon Forged Ventures, LLC ("Falcon Forged," "we," or "us") provides Dementoids. This policy explains how information is used by the iPhone game, the Dementoids website, and our support services. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@dementoids.com.

Information on your device

Dementoids stores game preferences, high scores, run statistics, and character-trial history on your iPhone. This allows the game to remember your settings and progress. The game does not require a Falcon Forged account or provide its own iCloud game-save service.

Removing the app or its data can remove local progress. Reset Progress clears local score and run records; it does not cancel a purchase or delete scores held by Game Center. An eligible high score may return when the game connects to Game Center.

Diagnostics and performance

We use Sentry to identify crashes, technical errors, and performance problems. Diagnostic information can include crash reports and stack traces, device and operating-system details, app version and build, technical session identifiers, performance measurements, and a limited record of app screens or service actions leading to a problem.

The app does not intentionally add your Game Center identity, gameplay score, run statistics, character choice, purchase receipts, or payment information to Sentry diagnostic reports. Automatic diagnostic screenshots, screen recordings, view-hierarchy capture, and automatic network-request tracking are disabled.

Sentry's session-health reporting uses a randomly generated identifier associated with an app installation. A submitted bug report can include this identifier, technical context, and any email address you provide. This can connect a support report with diagnostic information; these records are not necessarily anonymous. We use them for app reliability and support, not advertising tracking.

Services receiving network requests receive connection information, including an IP address. That information may be processed or retained by those services. Disabling personal-information collection in the app does not mean that an IP address is never received or stored.

The app also uses Apple's on-device logging and diagnostic facilities. Apple's handling of diagnostic information depends on its services and your device settings.

Bug reports and email

If you choose Options → Report Bug, the app opens a form that sends your message through Sentry. An email address is optional and allows us to reply. Reports are queued for delivery when a connection is available; queuing a report does not confirm that it has reached us.

We use the message and associated technical information to understand and respond to the issue. If you email support@dementoids.com, we receive your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. Please leave out passwords, payment details, and other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.

Game Center and purchases

Game Center is optional. When you use it, Dementoids sends high scores to Apple and retrieves leaderboard information. Your scores can be associated with your Game Center profile and visible through Apple's leaderboard features. Apple's settings and Game Center privacy information explain its handling of that information.

Apple processes the optional character-unlock purchase and requests to restore it. Dementoids checks verified StoreKit information to determine whether purchased characters are available. Falcon Forged does not receive your payment-card or banking details. See Apple's App Store privacy information for its purchase and account practices.

The Dementoids website

The website stores your motion preference in your browser so it can remember whether you paused ambient animation. You can remove this preference by clearing the site's browser data.

Our hosting services receive information needed to deliver pages and media, such as your IP address, the requested address, and browser request information. This information may also be used in hosting and security logs. The Dementoids website does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Following a link to another website or using an Apple service is subject to that provider's own privacy practices.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate Dementoids, remember local preferences, provide purchases and leaderboards, investigate technical problems, maintain the website, and respond to support and privacy requests.

We use service providers for app diagnostics and feedback, website hosting, and email delivery and storage. Sentry processes diagnostic and feedback information for us. Apple provides purchases, Game Center, app distribution, and platform services.

Dementoids has no advertising SDK. We do not sell personal information or use it to track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. The game does not request access to your contacts, photo library, microphone, precise location, or advertising identifier for gameplay.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to address fraud, security incidents, or the protection of our services and users. Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live.

Retention

Local game data remains on your device until it is removed through the applicable app or device controls. Apple manages the information held in its services under its own policies.

Retention of support, diagnostic, and website records depends on the type of information, the systems holding it, and the reason it is needed. Relevant factors include responding to your request, investigating technical or security issues, operating the service, and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. Different categories of records may be kept for different periods.

You can contact support@dementoids.com to ask about information associated with a request or to request deletion. Removing the app does not automatically remove records already sent to us or our service providers.

Your choices and requests

You can play without Game Center, choose whether to purchase additional characters, adjust local preferences, and decide whether to send a bug report or provide an email address.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Send requests to support@dementoids.com. Include enough context to help identify the relevant information without sending unnecessary sensitive details. We may need to verify a request. Some records are controlled by Apple, and some information may need to be retained to meet applicable obligations. You may also have the right to raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

Children

Dementoids does not ask players to create an account or provide a date of birth. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support report or email, contact us so we can review and address it. The game's age rating is shown on its App Store listing.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Dementoids or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
